I have one of these books:

A lot of people already have posted pictures from this online, but there are a few pages of character lineart that are nifty. Unfortunately I forgot to bring it to college with me, I'll get it in the next couple weeks. I also have all of the manga (no need for tenchi) with their original covers.

I have that also, but my copy has a broken spine, and pages are falling out, I
think it was like that when I got it, I had put off scanning it because there are
images that span 2 pages and I wanted to join the images, I do a good job at
image editing / drawing but I am extremely slow.

Here is a list of the books I have, that also need to be scanned, may not be a
complete list.

I find that more than a few books I get seem to have been scanned, I tend to think
that because the spine is broken or flattened out, more so than would be for reading,
if that's the case, were are the scans ?  LOL

I am thankful there are more people interested in scanning and uploading

Would anyone like scans of the mihoshi/Kiyone book? I say scans but I'll be taking pics, there's no way I am ruining the spine.

If that's the one I am thinking about, there are 4 of them,

Tenchi Muyo! Character book - Ayeka

Tenchi Muyo! Character book - Sasami

I have the Ryoko book, and I thought I had the Sasami one, but can't find it,
I am planning on getting the ones I am missing when I have the money and
can find them LOL

If you have a flatbed scanner you can work the spine a little and flatten the book out
and just scan it, -- on some older books that can make the glue crack and pages fall
out, it just depends on the book, some dont mind getting flattened out, and some fall
apart.

A homemade CNC machine? wow, that's even more impressive than that scanner you built. Don't forget to show us some pictures of the finished product.

I got a good deal on a DIY kit, it was just parts when I got it, its taken most of this month
to clear out a space in my workshop, setup a PC for CNC, assemble the CNC router, and
basic wiring / electronics.

I like that book's inclusion of sheet music. I can't read Japanese, but I can play piano so it was fun figuring out which one was which. This book was a random find at an anime convention... It's hard to find Tenchi stuff usually so the second I see something familiar to the series I buy it if it's not overpriced.

well well well, just found something nice, on emule. "(C70) (同人誌) [梶島温泉] 慰安旅行当日の夜 6.lzh", that's Kamidake Onsen 2005 v6. Trying to download it now, but there are only two sources. So it'll probably take a million years. Anyone interested in it, with experience using Winny/Share, is welcome to try some copypasta magic and see if you have better luck obtaining it before me.

I used to use Winny, Share, and Perfect Dark all the time, I kinda gave up for lack of
finding anything new years ago, I guess I need to look again, Google search turned
this up.

and another scanned image 8.6 MB in size, I had downloaded it October 2009 and extracted
to a directory named after the compressed file, and the directory matches that name

That'll suck, if that's the case. emule in now at 95%, so hopefully sometime tonight I'll have the rest. I'm surprised it's downloaded so much with only 3 sources, in a short period of time. emule usually takes forever to snag up files.

EDIT: forced the incomplete archive to open and it's just two pictures, with the file sizes you described.

BTW its mostly Adult Material 

I will likely at a later time use a flatbed scanner on pages with color images,
and also the pages with lots of text, for OCR / translation work.
