The blogs are now open for use!  I've added the three enhancements to the blogs this morning, and I plan on whipping up an Import routine tonight.  Hopefully, by the end of the week, all the current blog message boards will be converted over to blogs...assuming you all create a blog (those of you that have them).  I will be deleting the blog message boards once they have been converted over to Blogs.

Please speak up if you want to see any other enhancements.  I'll see if I can make it happen.

Briefly the enhancements are:
1.  The ability to type up a blog description.  You may change this at any time by using your Blog Settings.

2.  I've added a Mood entry field.  I will probably be changing this to a Drop Down list soon.

3.  Each blog you post, will have one of the following options:

• Public - Meaning that anybody, including guests) can see and comment on your blog post. 
• Members Only -  Meaning that only members can see and comment on your blogs. 
• Buddies Only -   You can define Buddies in your Profile.
• Private - Only you can see these entries.

Over to the left, you should see a link that says "Manage your Blog" (under Tools)

will the import system let you change the background, or just put things like pics on the blog?
Also, I would like it if you could use the smileys on the blogs.

You can use smilieys and you can insert pictures into your blog by using the standard BBC code controls.  I believe that you can also use some basic HTML code as well.
