Current Job: Software support technician.  (I hate it).
Like about the current job: Sometimes there is free time to 'goof off'. (meaning that I can actaully write programs for the company I work for)
Dream Job: Software Engineer (the guys that acutally think up of the solutions for a client and then write the algorithims (sp??) to solve thier needs.)
Why I would like this job: I would get to solve unique challenges and problems (not the same old crap by b****y end-users everyday)

It's complicated, when love has faded
And you can't hold on anymore
You gotta let go even though you know
Your heart's gonna hate it
And it just might break it

You never stop loving somebody
No matter what you tell yourself
You never stop loving somebody
You just, start loving somebody else

Man, that sucks!  I'll give you some pointers though.  On my first project, I got a 98%, and I scored like a 99% on the written test.  Tomorrow, I've got Project 2 due, along with another test. *grumbles*   :figures:

On the first test, the grade range was from 28%-84%
the 4 highest grades in the class were students who took the class the previous semster and failed the class. So their forcibly taking it again to improve their grade. While i'm taking this for the first time, so out of the other 4 people who aren't taking the class a second time. I got the highest grade of 67 some...

first it was the basics of fundamentals. before you can do a program or do a project, you have to understand the means you are doing it.
Well, we are now starting the java learning path, but we jsut started learning doubles or shoudl already comprend doubles.. i have no idea what a double is... >.<

Current Job: Software Architect / Systems Engineering.
Like about the current job: I get to design from the ground up full featured products like a homeautomation system, a mini GIS system, a cable design tool, etc. And have a small team that I get to run to work on my project (granted I still get to do a majority of the programming as well)
Dream Job: What I'm doing for the most part.

a double is a numerical storage type that usually has 15+ (depends on the language) places of precision. While a single (or float as it's called in java, C, and C#) has 7 places of precision. But a double takes twice as much memory to hold as the single, and can take twice as much processing time to do an equivilent operation (+-/*) on it.
