One of the reasons why I love the medium of Anime is the music.  Although I have a very basic and limited vocabulary of Japanese, the rhythms remind me of the 80s Pop that I grew up to.  J-POP has been among my favorite genres of music for over two decades now.  Here's a very short list of my favorites.  (I'll be linking the audio when I have a moment.)
