After the massive success of LaD I have been doodling around with a martial arts type RPG after watching a bunch of martial arts animes (Tenjou Tenge, Fist of the North Star, Shadow Skill, not DBZ; to a lesser degree Rorouni Kenshin, and Mortal Kombat: Deception/Armaggeddan).  Thoughts and comments, are appreciated, also this will act as a preliminary player sign up.

tempted to join. need to see more info on a plot or something. note, we already have Way of the Shinobi for ninja stuff, so it needs to be different than that.

It will be nothing like WotS, it is about different martial artists training to get stronger (which is the anime cliche), but they will be fighting in tournaments, street fights, and other forms of battle.  It's my style to come up with plot on the fly, so I can't tell too much about that, other then each character will fight each other at least once, and As the RPG progresses the characters will develop new and more powerful techniques.

Abilities as they progress would move from combos and power attacks, to killing techniques, and ki attacks.  For the most part you will create them yourself with some imagination.

Here is an example of a power attack:  (Style: Muy-Tai;)  Concussion Kick:  Powerful kick delivered to the back of the opponents head.

Here is an example of a combo: (Stlye: Brawler;) Nut-buster combo:  Headbut, fist to stomach, kick to groin, then drive their face into knee.

Here is an example of a killing technique: (Stlye: Tiger (Kung Fu) Tiger Claw: Using fingertips like claws the user stabs his opponent in the throat severing the windpipe.

Here is an example of a ki technique:  (Style: Silat;) Ki Blade:  User gathers ki in their hand and then flattens it creates a sharp blade.

Also during the RPG the characters will learn new fighting styles and learn a weapon fighting style.
