We all have our favorite settings of game play.  Most people, when they begin their Role-playing Adventure, usually begin with good ol' Dungeons and Dragons, a medieval fantasy setting complete with magic.  Although, my gaming days began with Star Wars, a science fiction fantasy game where I was the pilot of an X-Wing fighter.

It's probably because I began my role playing career with a science fiction based game, that Science Fiction has become my favored genre of game play.  I also loved the ShadowRun setting as well.  Lots of guns, but set in a very hi-tech [after] world.  What's your favorite setting?
