To eliminate distractions! Especially from people!
I've been working ...well, attempting to work on my latest fan fiction, planning and organizing it, and I've been distracted nearly every time I sit down to get some writing done!
No, these famous authors aren't crazy. They're they smart ones! The rest of us poor folks trying to write surrounded by constant distractions are the crazy ones!

Tenchi Muyo! / Who are Johnny and Katherine?

Tenchi Muyo! / Sasami Magical Girls Club
Last post by Senkusha - 08-Apr-2025 (Tue) @ 21:06:41This came out in 2006, and I was excited to watch it, as it featured more magical girls, however, I'm disappointed. It's very much 3D generated, the script seems to be kiddified, and the first two episodes seem very Americanized.
Which to me cheapens the thrill of the Magical Girl genre.
But I will give them props, they seem to have nailed the Crazy Mad Scientist persona correctly!
Anyway, what do you think of this series? I'll probably end up watching both seasons, just because... I'm bored?

This technology is called NT (New Technology)
If memory servers, Magical Project S came out in 1995 or 1996, right about the same Windows NT was Microsoft's newest, biggest, baddest, most awesomest promise to the Computer Industry. I wonder, is this the same NT? Did Yōsuke Kuroda and/or Hideyuki Kurata include a fun little pun in this story? I'll dig a bit deeper, but the World may never know.

Tenchi Muyo! / First Appearence of Ryoko?

So, I started digging. If Wikipedia is correct, then that means that Ryoko, or perhaps an inspiration for Ryoko's appearance is somewhere in Season 7, Episode 7, "Run Away With Me, Ranma!". However, Wikipedia is a bit confusing here, because I looked a second time, and there's a second column of really high episode numbers, that's NOT in sequential order. If I'm looking for episode 126 there, then I need to watch Season 6, Episode 11, "A Cold Day in Furinkan" to try to find this single frame of Ryoko.
Ranma 1/2 was the first anime I watched (beyond Vampire Hunter D, I believe, and I remember watching seasons 1, 2, and 6, before I fell head over heels for Tenchi Muyo! It's possible that I wouldn't have seen Ryoko's image if she was included in Season 6, because I didn't know about Ryoko while I was obsessed with Ranma 1/2.
Looks like I'm going to have to watch some Ranma! Just so I can find a needle in a haystack. Yup, I'm crazy...

The Neverending Story [board] (1D) / Scrivener
Last post by Senkusha - 06-Apr-2025 (Sun) @ 20:25:43I recently took the plunge and purchased Scrivener. Just the fact that it can help me organize all my notes, create outlines, AND I can draft my stories in one place is well worth the cost.
So now that I'm working on my first fiction using Scrivener, have you used this software before? What do you find helpful the most about using it?
