And people laughed when I mention that I'm a "Prepper".  Guess what?  My house currently doesn't have any running water!  And, I've got no money for a motel room for two.  So, I've got lots of bottled water. :)

So you DID have a thread already on prepping! :) I had asked in: Twitter
Why don't you have running water? Now that is a bit too prepper for me! :)

OH Wow, this was a long time ago in my former living arrangement.  My old-ex-roommate broke the plumbing by clogging the toilet, and the shower drain, so everything had to be shut off.  Glad I had some bottled water.

I learned back in 2010? I think it was when Hurricane Ike blew through Kentucky from Texas and knocked out our power for a week, in January, I think it was, to always have bottled water and "non-cookable" food ready.

Glad you are out of that place then. :) Jugs of water would be cheaper. We have well water so keep jugs full around here. The water was first distilled water we use to make colloidal silver & for our steamer. I never could fathom buying water unless absolutely necessary. I do know in some parts, they have no choice which is a terrible crime!

I don't make it a habit of purchasing bottled water.  I do want to invest in a Reverse Osmosis water filter that I can install under my kitchen sink.

I've also seen YouTube videos about how to make Colloidal Silver, and someday plan to make some for regular use.  It's got some great benefits.  Also want to get some copper water jugs.  Supposedly there's some benefits from drinking copper-ized water.

We bought our CS from www.silverlungs.com back in 2012. Initial investment is up there but with what they charge for bottles it's unreal! I swish my mouth with it but mainly I got it for earaches I get from overdoing dairy.
You can make colloidal gold but that is very expensive!

What benefit does colloidal gold do for your body?  As I understand, I thought gold is a toxic substance to your body, while silver is beneficial.  Maybe I'm just confused.

Silver can be good for infections. I do a swish for my teeth but honestly haven't seen much help in that department. I use it mainly for earaches which it DOES help heal. My husband likes it for his dry eyes every few days.
Gold can be good for healing as well but I have never tried it nor can find as much info on it versus on silver.
Per a search: "gold toxicity is considerably low"
