True, but I have seen it...Transformers is a perfect example...they first re-released it, now they have all new shows.

I can remember the fanastic four cartoon series as a children and when they made the recent fanastic four. I was anger because Dr. Doom was given superpower to be a supervillian. Dr. Doom was a supervillian because of his brillant plan, weapon and traps, and not superpower.
So in a sense, they re-invented fanastic four with Dr. Doom.

It usually seem that hollywood can't stay true to the loyal diehard fans.

sometimes they do, but most of the time lately they try to make things closer to their original design.

You have to give them credit though...more and more movies are being made that are much closer to the print version than ever before

However, sometime the reinvention of a show is better than the original.
Example: Superfriends- Justice League
The Justice League is better than the Superfriend show was.

Absolutely...my kids watch it when it is on and it is so much better...the old was was definitely cheesy.
