In your opinion is it happiness or sadness , tragedy or triumph that brings us all closer together? in basic of the two sadness or happiness which do you believe brings everyone closer together, and why that choice.

it depends on the situation... sadness can make one hide in the shadows, yet groups of those under the same sadness woud ban together and overcome it, same with tragedy. but happiness and triumph... i am not familiar with

Both tragedy and triumph.  When a tragedy occurs we want someone to help shoulder the burden, and we like to share triumphs.

i think a common enemy works better than all of that. get a group of people who all hate the same thing and they'll become friends.

everything could ban people together in some way shape or form, and they can tear people apart in some way shape or form

I think I am happy most of the time. At times it takes one or two people in the group to make everyone else unhappy. I just try to look at the bright side of things.
