I figured I'd throw this idea out here.  I'm looking to compile a list of RPG systems that are designed for solo play (one person)  If you've had any experience using such game systems, which mechanics seem to work better than others, please add your insights below!

A relatively new style of role playing called Journalism may be something for you to consider.  Basically what you do is use a deck of playing cards or some dice to randomize from a list of writing prompts and you create a character like you normally would, only you use the writing prompts to guide your story.

I decided to use Chat GBT to generate a list for a deck of playing cards using popular anime tropes within the genres of Science Fiction, Romantic Comedy, Harem, and Magical Girl.  Let me know what you think!
