I wish there was a D&D for playstation 2 or gamecube(real time). Which allow you to create your our characters with being able to add more classes, features, feats, skills, monsters, and more.

Bring it on evil.
D&D "The Path" an adventure of the unknown and danger.

ehh...ive always liked D&D on paper better than as a video game anyways...requires more skill and creativity

that and as a video game on the consoles, it LIMITS your actions to an extreme.. You can only be usually a set character which is already made, while the PC has a lot more potential for getting really creativity.. but your right, the tabletop version has unlimited Freedom! House Rules are my favorite, I tell you..

It as video has many of rule automatic in it.
Instead of trying to understand and know all of the rules.

the automatic feel takes away from the idea of the game. As being automatic you dont' get to experience hands on how a roll of the di determines your chance of survival. You can easily be killed or saved by a miracle... it makes thing soo much interesting..

Like years ago, i saw all my nephews playing this baldur's gate version on the xbox which was all automated. All they did was hack and slash and walked through everything. If they died or screwed up, they just reloaded which really bothered me as it took the fun out of the game. D&D isn't about hacking and slashing which a lot of people like to associate it with. It is a more physical based environment verus Star Wars D20 which is all stealth nad intelligence based. D&D is about the Use of the imagination to have some real fun!

But you do not have worry as much. However, I wish there was way to make it less hack and slash and still be fun. The saved feature is take it or leave it thing.
