So, I've begun watching these two (well three, there's also Sasami Magical Girls Club) series. After watching the first episode (of three) of Magical Girl Pretty Sammy, and Magical Project S, I think I prefer the latter. Although the two anime appear to tell the same story, it reminds me of the difference between Tenchi Muyo! and Tenchi Universe.
I do wish that Magical Project S was dubbed in English though.
What are your thoughts on this either of these two shows?
Some things I've noticed, at least with Magical Project S.
- Sasami really doesn't want to be a Magical Girl.
- Does she only have one attack?
- Can other Magical Girls see through Pretty Sammy's magical aura / disguise (do they know it's Sasami)?
- And is Sasami just the typical ditz not recognizing Pixy Misa as her friend?

really cried. The episode of Friends (Episode 20) was truly tugging at the heart string!

I'm totally excited, but I'm going to have to wait until tomorrow to watch episode 21! This new development in the story of Pretty Sammy is giving me all kinds of fiction ideas!
