Gas prices are really not murder get over it, when i was in england they pay the equivalent of $8 for petrol. So like I said that $1 helps destroy the enviroment whereas England's $7 help save it. SO please save yourself the problem and shut up about petrol.

If I had Electric car. I do not have to worry about if the gas prices is $1.00 or $10.00  per gallons.

If you had an electric car you would pay for charging the battery and that can be expensive for 2 reasons... 1 few petrol outlets have that capability 2 it costs to have that service if few use it 3 whats stopping the electricity bills from being more extortion? The people who make the profit will say oh the extra money you pay is to help save the enviroment... My foot.

The only way you can even consider helping the enviroment/saving money is by NOT travelling on planes and by cycling or travelling to work by bike and only... ONLY using the car when nessacary.

But this is about price so....

There a price for both Electric and gas.
Gas car are expensive with gas price.
Electric to get, maintain, and power. But power price are different power sources.

yes but all you do with an electric car is pass of the pollution to the nuclear power station up the road...

BUT if they used solar panels to charge the grid that charges electric car batterys, then that would be good. But we are talking about america.

We cannot have gas car forever. Gas is nonrenewable resource which is quickly being use up.
Solar plant is great idea only thing is it expensive and need lot of sunlight.
Nuclear plant are expensive and very risk, but produce a whole of power.
Wind mill plant need powerful winds.
So I agree with you but Every type of electric plant has + and -.

Except Fusion.

Come on, what place has a cold fusion power plant. Which I may add sun is giant super hot fusion reaction of hydrogen and helium.

Post by: I wonder what lies beyond that... on 07-May-2006 (Sun) @ 11:28:00
there are billions of fusion reactors... one of them is under our feet.

Ok washu.
HAHAHA
Fussion as combine of atoms to create large amount of  heat enegry.
It is the oppiste of Nuclear plant which use  heat engery of spliting atoms.

Not true a fusion reactor pushes together protons, it uses hydrogen as its fuel as it is the simplest, stable atom and then once it has performed its trick we get Helium (4,2). Whereas redundant, ineffective nuclear reactors use the decay of materials and the heat from spliting a nucleus apart to generate heat.

Basicly a reiteration of your post.

I will take a chevy Z06 engine. IT has 505HP and 0mph to 60mph in 3.3sec. That is a power plant.

This engine is only in the corvette

You with the word fusion. Hydrogen powered cars is topic have little knowledge.

I will just stick with the gas engine.

Post by: Warlord Vir on 09-May-2006 (Tue) @ 20:31:13
I could have it my way I drive Hybrid if I had to have a gas engine at all.

Hybrid engines are ok. But I will wait till they inprove it.
