Title: Little Kids & Video Games do not mix well

Quite Interesting, just listen to it. it's audio with still image...

Violent Video games should not be played by 11 year old kids. Seriously, this is just an example.. Hiliariously none the least, but still a serious matter. *shakes head* thats why games like WOW are designed for 15+
I've had a moment here and there where I just wnated to smash stuff up due to OVERganking, but you konw. It's a video game.. You just got to let it go, apparently 11 year olds don't know how to do it.

That's...disturbing...to say the least.Let's hope he doesn't get camped in Halo or something and decide to go psycho with an SMG(Then again, if an 11-year-old has ACCESS to said SMG, we've got problems already).

The bad thing is that it's stuff like this that gives gamers the 'psycho' persona:

~~~~~~~~~~
"Hi, I'm a teenager and I play videogames."
Congressman:"HE SAID HE HAS A GUN AND HE'S GONNA KILL US ALL!!"
"Eh...no I didn't..."
Congressman:"THIS IS JUST ANOTHER WARPED CHILD!!! MORE BANS ON VIDEOGAMES!!! THEY CORRUPT OUR YOUTH!!!"
"  :omg: "
~~~~~~

  :nosweat:

Sorry. Got a bit off topic there.

Anyways... so that was on ytmnd?

*thumbs up*

Nice.

If your a gamer, the whole audio file is pretty easy to understand really. Just think of a RPG, sum lvl 60 was camping and making a lvl 32 paladin's life hell and then that helped set off the bomb in the little kid.

Either way, the game should not be played by anyone under 15, By the rating on the game, if he was to young to play and by passed the age requirement then he should not be playing it and it's his own damn fault.

Like video game bans and such have floated around forever and half, I remember when they tried to put a ban on Starcraft (another blizzard creation) and it was on the news. The game was written for mature audiences but yeah they say there's too much violence for little kids and they shoudl not be playing it. Butttttt if you look, it's Rated Mature, AGe 17+, so if a kid has access to a game and he is under the age requirement, either someoen didn't check his age or his parents should be taking a step on it. It's like TV censorship, if the parents aren't going to take  active life in what their kids watch and want someone else to do it. Then those people should not be parents and the child would benefit more from actual mentally healthy and active role model parents.

That is what is wrong with today's youths and such violence. There are no role models fro kids execpt all the wrong ones. I grew up raised by the traditional values and morals, but i am very liberal in alot of things. But traditional ethics versus new-age. Traditional Pwns New-Age. I'll give new-age some credit as there is some thigns that I like much better but overall it is a saddening sight to see what teenagers do in today's world. It's pitiful when you can turn on the radio and almost every radio station that comes in clear shouts out "music" that preaches about getting laid or engaging in sex in some manner. I mean sex is kewl and all but music is suppose to be about freedom of one's inner self expression by delivering a point of some sort or perhaps even just expressing ones inner most thoughts.

Argh thats enough on my rant about stuff.

*shakes head* And that's just NOW.

If people don't get a sense of morals before the next generation comes, the world is going to descend into chaos.

I shudder and fear the day that uncensored secular rap will be on the oldies station

*shivers*

Scary.

these issues have been around for ever back at the columbine shooting thay blamed the fact that the kids were so screwed up on the fact that they played games like doom and quake. I think that is a load of crap does anybody remember wolfenstein? the origional not the new one. that was a pretty hardcore game for the day I was playing it when I was younger than the freeky 11-year-0ld. At eleven I was playing the origional UT and the like. And I dont snap on people because of it. I think that the parnets probbaly had more to do with the kid snapping than the fakt that he kep on gettin ganked in an online game.

I hear the audio on the site, and I have to say that kid was freaky. However, it prove that some game are made for only mature mind of teenage or older.

I play this game and I completly agree that no one should be able to play with out being 15 or older.

Also there should be a psyche test to purchase it. This game draws all of the psycho's out.

I actually know the SilverStein guy.

He was 60 when he took this kid out. He was Lvl 39. He was in a PvP area that's like Capture the flag. He didn't specifically go after this kid, he's just an awesome player and paladins are a huge threat to him since he plays an undead character. Basically he was elminating a threat. He also took out this other guys priest character more times. Also in the game chat window this kid was cussing up a storm and insulting SilverStein like crazy.

Like I said you should have to pass a psyche evaluation to be able to play this game.
It's one of the simpler MMORPGS on the market so people with out time to figure out a complex game play it as well as people who for one reason or another don't have the mental capacity to handle a more complex game.
