what has been your favorite video game? and why?
metroid prime 1&2
exquisite graphics, great gameplay, suberb storyline & you play as a women heh he he
Asheron's Call -- Great community of people to hang around with.
Well for me I like Sonic the Hedgehog (Adv. verisons)
I like those versions of it because I like to run fast, explore different places at high speed & being a hero with those moves.
The Super Robot Taisen saga.I,ma mecha fan too and SRW combines the storylines of a lot of mecha animes.A lot of which arent known in the US.Examples of that are Mazinger Z, Combattler V and GEAR Fighter Dendoh.
But it also includes more known mecha-anime such as EVA, Nadesico, Gundam(several of the series, mainly UC Gundam)
D&D
Because character development, character customize, action/adventure, medival weapons, and fanasty RPG.
There are so many games I like. I don't know where to start.
CIV and Empire Earth.
xwing vs tie fighter
I really like Zelda. I haven't been able to beat the one I'm playing on N64. I keep getting stuck in the pirates cave. I'm sposed to take a pic... Ugh. I had one but the game got unplugged before I could save it.
Icewind Dale,Lemmings,and Empire Earth.
ATV off road Fury
Battlefront Star War
Black is a good game.

Half life 2 is excellent as is UT 2004.
Anyone has more detail on Black
Black is a fun game. In the game you are a hit man in some black ops cases.
I think I seen the review on X-play for Black.
The game is fun. I am playing it right know.
Obilivion look great, but require a lot.
just started playing guild wars...pretty good so far
Is it any good?
NO! you have to build a character on the single campaign inorder to play successfully online!
Really?!
lol...i dont care too much..it is free online play tho..i just like beating creatures to little bits to release anger...hehe...
I love good RPG like D&D.
However this D&D online to me is not the original D&D.
most RPGs are based off of D&D if you break it down
I wish there was a D&D for playstation 2 or gamecube(real time). Which allow you to create your our characters with being able to add more classes, features, feats, skills, monsters, and more.
ehh...ive always liked D&D on paper better than as a video game anyways...requires more skill and creativity
that and as a video game on the consoles, it LIMITS your actions to an extreme.. You can only be usually a set character which is already made, while the PC has a lot more potential for getting really creativity.. but your right, the tabletop version has unlimited Freedom! House Rules are my favorite, I tell you..
It as video has many of rule automatic in it.
Instead of trying to understand and know all of the rules.
the automatic feel takes away from the idea of the game. As being automatic you dont' get to experience hands on how a roll of the di determines your chance of survival. You can easily be killed or saved by a miracle... it makes thing soo much interesting..
Like years ago, i saw all my nephews playing this baldur's gate version on the xbox which was all automated. All they did was hack and slash and walked through everything. If they died or screwed up, they just reloaded which really bothered me as it took the fun out of the game. D&D isn't about hacking and slashing which a lot of people like to associate it with. It is a more physical based environment verus Star Wars D20 which is all stealth nad intelligence based. D&D is about the Use of the imagination to have some real fun!
But you do not have worry as much. However, I wish there was way to make it less hack and slash and still be fun. The saved feature is take it or leave it thing.
