One of the reasons why I love the medium of Anime is the music. Although I have a very basic and limited vocabulary of Japanese, the rhythms remind me of the 80s Pop that I grew up to. J-POP has been among my favorite genres of music for over two decades now. Here's a very short list of my favorites. (I'll be linking the audio when I have a moment.)
- I'm a Pioneer from Tench Muyo!
- Happy Material: A Happier Version from Negima!
- Perfect Area: Complete! From Baka and Test
- My Heart, Your Heart from Ah! My Goddess
- Happy Birthday to Me from Nuku Nuku
- Get Along! from The Slayers
- Cruel Angels Thesis from Neon Genesis Evangelion
- Eternal Blaze from Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's
- Amulet from Operation Sanctuary
And I'm sure I'm forgetting a ton!
