Just a thought I had when I looked at another forum. Half of them wore glasses while the other didn't. I'm just curious.

I used to have glasses but I switched over to contacts a while ago. I have horrible vision something like 20:200 or 20:250 its bad.

I see pretty good.

I wear primarily glasses, but I have contacts that I wear too... Especially during the summer when it's a pain to have my glasses sliding down my nose during a hike. Or in the rain when I can't see thru the raindrops.

Never had to wear glasses. And I have great eye sight.

I wear glasses most of the time, however, I can't STAND water drops on my glasses.  It's (my paranoia) so bad that I usually either wear a hat or take them off when it's rainy.

I wear contacts. I prefer them because of both looks and because they don't do things like fog up, get wet from rain, fall off and break, etc. Of course, they do have their own set of problems, but I can deal with those.

I wear glasses 90% of the time, and even then I only wear them on my face 80% of the time.

The other 20% is spent on top of my head 'Mousse' style. It makes ignoring people at times easier, and they don't get in the way when I sleep.

I only break out my contacts for special occasions or when I try to look dashing.

Otherwise, I'm as blind as a bat.

And I agree, getting your glasses wet is not fun. If your head's wet, usually your clothes are wet too, kinda wetting the only thing you usually have to dry them off.

i am so d*** nearsighted its not even funny. i tried for two hours to get contacts in, but i guess I'm just twitchy or something, cuz I didn't even get close.

so, i am currently sitting at the computer with my glasses off and my nose about 5 inches from the screen so I can see.

Yosei: I can't put in contacts either! I blink too much.

i stil ened sunglasses and soon i might need galsses since one eye is really blurry

AI and Draco: Those aren't even the bad ones. Wait for another month or so and you'll see a new fan comic sig/avy set on me. I like to mess around in Photoshop and make sig/avy sets. This one wasn't that high in the fancy effects, but the content is what mattered this time around.

EK and Yosei(must...resist...calling...Yoshi...): Once you get over the entire 'I don't want to poke my own eye out' phase of putting in your contacts, they're not so bad.

Personally, it feels a bit weird not wearing anything over my face after wearing glasses for so long(so I wear sunglasses over them when I do wear them). Also, the can be itchy little "so-and-so"s.

well now tht sux i cant wait till i get perscription sunglasses since i can maek my teacher let me wear them in school.

Well, don't let my experiences stop ya. I can just get really dry eyes. That's another reason why I wear sunglasses when I wear contacts: they block the wind from drying out my eyes.

I have been whereing glasses for just over 1 year. They can with clip on sunglasses.

I've never had to wear contacts or glasses, even with the appaling amount of time I spend watching TV and on the computer, I guess I'm pretty lucky in the vision department

If I had to choose between contacts of glasses I'd definitly go for glasses, they're supposedly a lot less trouble to put on than contacts

If I had contacts knowing me I would poke a eye out. I would poke both of them out since I am just clumsy.  :-\

i have 15/20 vision in one eye and 20/20 in the other...i dont need help lol...as long as i dont need to focus with both eyes im good  :P
