Title: Anyone know a Translator?
Post by: Skuld-chan on 06-Aug-2004 (Fri) @ 23:15:09
Hi, I've got a challenge:  Can anybody decipher this line of text?

QuoteNestia non dala dien. Fomo kala tien den, Ten-chan...

QuoteMalas no, Ten-chan! Malas no wen tena no'dal!

Have fun!

Unfortunately for me, I have never seen the Tenchi series in it's entirety.  I vaguely remember sitting in on an episode or two when my sisters watched it, but other than that I'm afraid I know nothing of it.  Although.. I ran the lines through search engines, and this is what I found out:

-The lines are in a language called "Mollidoni."

-Mollidoni is a ficticious language existing only in the Tenchi universe.

-The quoted lines apparently have some sort of sexual undertone.

I'll toss up a guess based on what I've found out thus far.

QuoteNestia non dala dien. Fomo kala tien den, Ten-chan...
"These people are annoying.  Let's go somewhere more private, Tenchi."

QuoteMalas no, Ten-chan! Malas no wen tena no'dal!
Come with me, Tenchi!  We'll have a lot more fun somewhere else.

  ;D

Lol you're too modest.  The very lines you quoted are contained in a fan fiction on your very site.   :D

Hey where are these translaters you guys are using? I look alover for a good one, but none seem to work as well as they should.

Weill, unfortunatly, I don't know of any for Mollidoni, but for Japanese, I just use a good old fashioned English/Japanese dictionary.  Of course, knowing *some* japanese helps  :)
