I know that there are anime that are based on manga. And I know that sometimes anime directors will take creative liberties while producing the animated version of the manga. I just want to create a listing of major differences between the manga version and anime version of material.
There will be spoilers in this thread. You've been warned.
The first major difference is just with a title.
The manga was named
Chibi Vampire. The anime was called
Karin. If I recall, the anime pretty much followed the manga story-line.
However, in
Negima!, the anime took a significant deviation from the manga. Why? The anime production outpaced the manga production, and so the anime director, Akiyuki Shinbo, had to improvise to keep with the demands of the anime production schedule.
Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.
What other major differences do you know of between these two medium formats?
I had learned that Manga is the book & Anime is the cartoon, TV version.
