The students and staff of Mahora are presumably speaking in Japanese. So now, all of a sudden an automatic subconscious language translation happens so everybody can understand everybody?
I'm sure this happens in other anime all the time, and it's something nobody really considers, after all, this is totally fiction, and writers are master creators of their own worlds. It's just easier if everybody in a scene can communicate without too much effort. I know that I struggled with this when I wrote the fan-fiction,
