So this is an Anime found on Netflix and it is a really good watch.  The humans have been given the option to choose any strong human from any time period to fight the gods. 

LuBu, Jack The Ripper, and Adam(from Adam and Eve) are all human picks

This is a must watch Anime in my opinion. Be warned though, both seasons end on big cliffhangers lol.
