I was around 12 when I did that.  My mother definitely used it to her advantage...was the best week she ever had...she didn't have to do any house cleaning!

Sound like my granny getting my mother angry when my mother was younger.

I'm a rather slow soda drinker.  Currently, I can make a one liter last all day (9+ hours).  There was once a time when I could make a 12 oz can last all day.

No, by far, the best beverage is a nice hearty, full flavored beer!  AmberBock is my current favorite, then there's Killians, and Sam Adams is up there as well, although I don't remember which specific brew it was -- I just know I liked it!!

There was one time, I went to Hooters for lunch with a co-worker, and we had a couple pitchers of AmberBock...talk about a quick and easy buzz.  I think I fell asleep in the bathroom for like two hours that day sobering up!
