What's the Plot:
Keiichi Morrisato, an average college student gets left alone in the dorm while his Sempai go to a party.  After taking a message for on of the upper class men, he phones an order for dinner, but it turns out that he's dialed the wrong number, an instead, the Goddess First Class, Belldandy answers his phone call on behalf of the Goddess Help Line.  As a result of being directly connected to divinity, Belldandy opts to answer his request in person, by teleporting into his dorm room via a hallway mirror.  Her only instruction to Keiichi is that he must make a wish, any wish to his heart's content.  Thinking this is a prank by his Sempai (Keiichi is a engineering dork, actually), he wishes for "A goddess like you to remain by my side forever."  But there's a problem.  The wish is granted, fine, but his dorm mates do not allow girls in the dorm under any circumstances, and thus, he and his new joined-at-the-hip girlfriend are immediately evicted...

Modern day, 1990s.
