6 and a half hours people! *collapses* I didn't get it until right before lunch, and then had to wait until after lunch to sit down and start reading, but I finished before dinner!

Serves my mom right for reading the spoilers before hand. She asked me who had died so far at one point. I told her Hagrid, cuz I had just finished the chapter where he jumped off the motorbike to attack a Death Eater, and had not yet started the next chapter. She looked at me like I had two heads and muttered something about the spoilers being wrong. I didn't bother to correct my statement once I learned he had survived.  ;)

Now I get to do a bunch of 'i told you so' dances in the faces of people who didn't believe my James-Lily-Snape Love triange theory. Woot!

still in mourning over Lupin's death. May the last Marauder sleep in peace. T~T

Yeah, I am with you.  Anyone with experience with love/pain could tell the triangle was there.  My daughter is still sulking over Hedwig.  She has seen other deaths in it and is still ultra-whining over the heroic bird.  Personally, I was more fond of the kind-hearted house elf.  *pouts*
Yeah, I am sure... and the tooth fairy is sooo goth too.

Fawkes was so much cooler than Hedwig. I wish we had seen Fawkes in this book. And Snape's death was not as cool as I had hoped. I'd wanted him to redeem himself more.

Why'd Fred have to die when we were so close to OBHWF? Percy's an idiot still.

Fred's death was simple. J.K. needed to kill someone who really ment something to everyone. As for the love triangle thing, I had suspected it before you mentioned it to me anyway, I just wasn't real vocal about it. I was right about the Harry being a horcux too!

Why do people die before they truly live?

the rest of my family is taking turns reading the book. there are 3 different bookmarks stuck in it. at least the deluxe edition is a sewn binding.  :)

Yeah, if you read the topic "The Snape Debate" you'll see that a lot of us thought snape loved lilly.  It seemed the only obvious reason snape would swap sides.

I think what was hardest was lupin & tonks, so soon after the baby was born.  I did however like the fact that Molly killed Beletrix.

Also, did anyone feel like the book would have had better closure if she hadn't added the epiloge?  It just kinda left me flat, but if it had ended at the end of the last chapter, I think it would have been a more pointed ending.

Yosei-chan

i ment that alot of kids at my school didn't believe me, not you guys.

yeah, the epilouge was a bit odd, and it didn't say what had happened to anyone other than a few main characters.

I know someone who's going to hate book 7. she says her favorite two characters are Fred and Lupin.
